How to try it

Prop a wide cardboard poster tube at an angle on a cushion. Drop a soft ball or a rolled-up pair of socks in the top and let your toddler watch it roll out the bottom, then help them drop one in. Try it from different sides.

Materials

  • Wide cardboard poster tube
  • Soft ball or rolled-up socks
  • Cushion

Safety note

Use a ball or rolled-up socks too big to fit through a toilet-paper tube (about 1.75 in / 4.5 cm), and stay within arm's reach.
