Kigomo's parent company is Inang.com, an NYC company that develops innovative AI apps. References to “Kigomo,” “we,” “us,” or “our” in these terms include Inang.com as the company responsible for Kigomo.
Who may use Kigomo
Kigomo is intended for adults coordinating family activities and care. Play together’s games are for an adult to use together with their child on the adult’s own device; the account holder remains the user, and children do not get accounts. You are responsible for the information you enter and for deciding what is appropriate to share.

Kigomo provides general planning ideas. It does not provide medical, legal, emergency, nutritional, or diagnostic advice. Use your judgment and consult a qualified professional when appropriate.
AI-generated suggestions
Some of what Kigomo shows you is written or drawn by AI, including chat replies, card drafts, descriptions, pictures, and details of local places and events. These suggestions may be inaccurate or out of date. Check details such as times, ages, safety, and opening hours yourself before you rely on them. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
AI drafts and photos
AI Chat, link import, and making a card from a photo all produce a draft for you to read. Nothing becomes a card until you confirm it, and a draft can be wrong or incomplete, so check it before you save. AI Chat can also suggest a change to one of your plans; nothing changes until you tap Confirm. These features use OpenAI, our AI provider, and Kigomo sends nothing to OpenAI until you allow AI features in the app; you can withdraw that permission any time by turning off Use AI features (OpenAI) in Settings → Sharing & privacy. Permission is per account. When a caregiver in your family uses AI features, the family details described in our Privacy Policy — including other caregivers’ names and city and your family’s shared chat — are sent with their request.
You decide what to photograph and what to keep. Photograph only what you are comfortable sending, and do not use these features on other people’s photos or private material without their agreement.
A photo you make a card from leaves your phone or browser. Kigomo shrinks and re-encodes it there first, which removes the camera details and any GPS coordinates, then sends it to OpenAI, our AI provider, so it can write the card. Kigomo’s own servers do not keep that photo, and OpenAI may hold a copy for up to 30 days for safety checks, or longer if OpenAI is legally required to keep it. We ask the model to write about the object rather than about any people in the photo; that is our best effort, not a guarantee. Nothing reaches your family until you save the draft. A photo you save is kept on that phone as the card’s picture and, in a cloud-enabled family planner, in your family’s private storage where the rest of your family can see it. Removing the photo, or deleting the card, removes it from your family’s planner. Privacy describes all of this in full, including how the stored copy is deleted.
Get 4 ideas sends your photo, and the profile photos of the active child and up to two caregivers on that phone or in that browser, to OpenAI, our AI provider, so it can draw pictures of your real item or room with people who resemble your family, in Kigomo’s illustration style. Profile photos are shrunk and re-encoded first, sent without names, and go only to the model that draws the pictures, not to the model that writes the ideas. Only add another adult’s profile photo with their agreement, and remove their profile photo if they would rather not appear; removing it keeps that person out of future pictures. Profile photos do not sync between phones or browsers, so a profile photo can only be removed on the phone or in the browser where it was added. You are responsible for having the right to use the photos you add. Kigomo’s own servers do not keep these photos, and OpenAI may hold copies for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring, or longer if OpenAI is legally required to keep them. OpenAI screens the images it receives for abuse, including child-safety scanning. The pictures are illustrations and may not be accurate. A picture you save becomes the card’s picture and is shared with your family workspace, but it is never shown on a shared card link.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app or website, interfere with their operation, attempt unauthorized access, scrape private services, or use public materials in a way that violates applicable law or another person’s rights.
Availability and changes
The service may change, be interrupted, or contain errors. Features described as prototypes or planned work are not guaranteed production services. We may update these terms and will post the updated date here.
Apple terms
Downloads through Apple’s App Store are also subject to Apple’s applicable terms and standard end-user license agreement unless a different agreement is presented in App Store Connect.
