Review and change information

Open Kigomo to review and edit shared cards, schedules, child profiles, care notes, caregivers, emergency information, and conversations. Shared changes synchronize to active family members. Profile photos and snapshot-planner card photos remain local; family-card images explicitly added in a cloud-enabled planner are private shared workspace data.

Control what AI Chat sees

To personalize replies, AI Chat sends your message, recent history, and family context (your child's name and age, their care notes including allergies, the current caregiver's name and city, and the day's planned cards) to OpenAI through Kigomo's server. You decide what is included by choosing what you enter in each child and caregiver profile field — leave a field blank to keep it out of the AI context. See Privacy for how the request is handled.

Stop Apple Calendar sync

In Family, turn off Sync to Apple Calendar to remove Kigomo-exported events while Calendar access is available. If you already revoked access or removed the app, open Apple Calendar and remove the dedicated Kigomo calendar manually. This does not delete plans from the Kigomo family workspace.

Leave or delete a shared family

In Family, tap your profile picture in the top-right corner, then Settings → Account → Family access options. There, a caregiver can leave a family. After the server confirms the leave, Kigomo removes that family's offline cache, local photo files, chat cache, and interaction history from the phone. The owner can delete the shared family for everyone. Deleting it permanently removes its shared cards, schedules, profiles, messages, and related records and clears the same local data from the owner's phone. Family-card photos become inaccessible the moment the family is deleted: no link to them can be created again. Their stored file copies are not yet removed automatically; until that housekeeping ships, they are erased on request through support.

Delete your account

In Family, tap your profile picture in the top-right corner, then Settings → Account → Family access options. There, choose Delete my Kigomo account. If you own a family workspace, that workspace and its shared data are deleted along with your account. This cannot be undone.

One case is held back on purpose. If you own a family that another caregiver is still part of, Kigomo will not delete your account yet — doing so would take their whole family with it. You have two ways forward, and Kigomo tells you which one you are in: ask the other caregiver to leave the family from their own phone, or delete the shared family for everyone first and then delete your account. If you do not own a family, nothing holds up your deletion; families you joined stay with the person who owns them.

Remove the app from one phone

  1. Touch and hold Kigomo on your Home Screen.
  2. Choose Remove App, then Delete App.
  3. Confirm deletion.

This removes the local cache and photo files from that iPhone. It does not delete the account or shared workspace. Sign in again to restore shared data.
