Scope
This policy covers the Kigomo iPhone app and the public Kigomo website. Kigomo is designed for adult parents and caregivers and is not directed to children or offered in Apple’s Kids Category.
Information in the iPhone app
The app can store cards, schedules, family profiles, children’s names and dates of birth, care notes, emergency information, progress, chat history, and photos you select. In the local-only release, this information is stored in the app’s private storage on your iPhone and is not transmitted to Kigomo servers.
The production app does not create an account, synchronize family data between devices, track users across apps or websites, sell personal information, or use family information for advertising.
Photos and device access
Kigomo uses Apple’s system photo picker. You choose the specific photos copied into the app; the app does not request broad photo-library access. The contact picker is also provided by iOS and does not grant Kigomo general access to your contacts.
Sharing you initiate
If you use an iOS share action, you choose the destination and recipient. The receiving app or service handles the shared information under its own privacy terms. Kigomo does not upload attached family photos as part of its local card-summary sharing.
Public website
Public card and deck pages contain editorial activity ideas, not private family records. Standard hosting infrastructure may process technical request information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and request time to deliver and protect the site. Kigomo does not use advertising trackers on these pages.
Retention and deletion
Local app information remains until you remove it in Kigomo or delete the app. Deleting Kigomo from the iPhone removes its local app container. See Data choices for instructions.
Security and changes
Local information is protected by Apple’s app sandbox and the security controls on your device. No system is risk-free. We will update this policy before enabling accounts, cloud synchronization, or new data uses, and will post the revision date here.
