How to try it

Let your toddler step in a shallow tray of water, then walk them across a dry patio or sidewalk. Look back at the prints and watch them fade in the sun.

Materials

  • Shallow tray
  • Water

Safety note

Never leave a child alone near water. Keep the tray to an inch of water, pick a flat non-slip spot, and tip it out when you finish.
