How to try it

Put a whole potato or a small squash and a soft vegetable brush in a shallow bowl of water on a towel. Show your toddler how to scrub it, then let them rub it clean. Dry it with a cloth together.

Materials

  • Shallow bowl
  • Water
  • Whole potato or small squash
  • Soft vegetable brush
  • Towel

Safety note

Never leave a child alone near water. Use a whole vegetable too large to fit in the mouth, don't let your toddler bite or eat the raw vegetable, take it away if it goes to the mouth, and wipe spills right away.
