How to try it

Set a large open cardboard box on a rug and sit two children inside it, one behind the other. Pick a pretend place to sail to, like an island or Grandma's house, and have them row together with their arms while you slide the box slowly across the floor. Call \"land ahoy!\" when you arrive and let them climb out to explore.

Materials

  • Large sturdy cardboard box

Safety note

Check the box for staples and sharp edges, slide it slowly on a soft floor away from stairs, and stay beside it.
